The Minimoa, with it's amazing silhouette, is probably one of the most reproduced vintage glider these days, but still remains a curiosity. It symbolizes the year thirties of the German soaring. It was under many else, a technological adventure who helped many pilots to quit the slope soaring and explore the thermal soaring under clouds and even to wave soaring. It was a breakthrough from experimental soaring to pure sport flying.

The Minimoa was one of the first realization of the young company Göppingen Segelflugzeugbau born in 1935 when Wolf Hirth and Martin Schempp teamed up. Renamed Schempp-Hirth Segelflugzeugbau after the war, they are today one of the most famous and largest glider manufacturer.

Vintage glider are known for their great look and gentle flying behaviour. They are some of the greatest thermal ships you can fly and are a real joy. They will give you many hours of flight and are so graceful to see. This semi scale ship will be in its element behind a tug, but will let you winch it and will be a joy on the slope.
