The Shadow is
currently winning many F3J and thermal duration events over in Europe
and is now our latest offering in this category.
Development was based on several successful model
designs and with the latest knowledge in airfoil design. This thermal
ship is now widely appreciated for its great handling and its ability to
hang around. Thanks the newly designed airfoil HN507M1 from Norbert Habe,
which is a pure flap airfoil, meaning that it takes in consideration of
all required flap settings to provide best performance in any
flight configuration.
Construction of the Shadow follows the lightweight
composite technology, with all carbon main spare, carbon D-Box for
torsional stiffness. Fuselage is built from hybrid carbon/Kevlar,
providing a light yet sturdy fuselage.
So if you are looking for
a great ship to fly in your local TD
contests, the Shadow is a serious contender.
Shadow kit content is a three piece
hollow moulded wing, colored in the moulds. Carbon D-box construction.
Fuselage is Kevlar/carbon lay-up and of canopy type. Cross-tail version
comes with a two piece removable stab, while the V-tail version has also
removable stab. Ballast tube and adjustable tow hook are included.
