This ASW-22 BL is a 1/9 scale
replica and comes as a RTF kit and is highly finished. Best suited for
slope, it may be hi-started, winched or aero towed with a small
tug. It has great low speed handling for thermals and will fly fast
on slope. It has a realistic flight attitude in the air. Make some tight
thermal turns and see how these wings act like its 26m counterpart. Very smooth handling and great looking in the air, it will be
a heart breaker at local field. Building and flying require some skill, thus the designation for
intermediate pilot.
The kit comes completely finished. The
wings are sheeted foam covered with Oracover and the ailerons and flaps are hinged.
Molded winglets are fitted to the wing extremity. The elevator is bolt on and so removable for ease of transportation. The
clear plastic canopy is fitted to the fiberglass tray and hinged to the
front
like the full size, molded seat and finished interior are completing the cockpit.
Even a nice retract is fitted and functional. All what's required is your radio gear. You will need
4 sub-micro servos
in the wings, 2 micro servos and a small 6 channels receiver.
